Paladin changes in Beta build 8982

Melee hits no longer refresh Judgements, which means that in order for the debuff WoW Gold to stay on opponents, Paladins will actually have to continuously Judge them. With the change to Crusader Strike some time back removing its Judgement refresh feature, this means Judgements will be every Paladin's responsibility. This also means Blizzard is forcing Holy or healing Paladins to insert Judgements into their rotation. With Judgements eating up the GCD now, I'm not so keen on the idea.

The nerf bat swung and we got grazed a little bit. I didn't cover the last build's changes because WoW Gold they were somewhat minor, and most of them were reverted in this latest build anyway except for the change to Beacon of Light's duration to one minute (and all ranks work now). That's a buff, just in case you were wondering. On the other hand, the rest of the news is not so good.

We have yet to see a real second pass for the Holy tree, although Protection and Retribution are shaping up rather nicely. Retribution can still be kited like silly little hedgehogs (don't ask me where that metaphor simile came from), but other than that, it's pretty exciting. As I've maintained throughout all my posts, I really think Blizzard is moving in the right direction. They may take little detours along the way, but I'm fairly confident that Paladins will be great to play when Wrath finally comes out.

Shield of Righteousness was rebalanced to deal 100% of block value plus 300, although this might not be its final form as Blizzard tries to get the right amount of damage for the spell. As it turns out, a pure multiplier of Block Value -- as high as over 300% in older builds -- made Shield of Righteousness deal insane damage. This change mostly affects Protection Paladins who will have the spell firmly in their rotation.

Seals were nerfed again. The coefficients for Seal of Vengeance / Corruption, Seal of Blood / of the Martyr, and Seal of Command were lowered. I don't really have much to say about this other than that I'm disappointed but confident that it's all balanced. I haven't done as extensive a test of the Beta as I probably should, so if these damage nerfs were based on hard numbers that Blizzard has gathered, then they're probably right. I have to believe that.

The last interesting change is that Hammer of Justice now interrupts spellcasting for 3 seconds. The long WoW Gold asked for spell interrupt is finally here and it's bundled with the one spell we've always used to try and interrupt. A spell that stuns. A spell that's on a one minute cooldown. A spell that has what feels like a ridiculously high resist rate. It works as a spell interrupt against mobs that are immune to stuns, so... yay, I guess? I can't make WoW Gold heads or tails of this change, and I'm wary of criticizing it right now because there might be something that I'm missing.

Also: Falls euch in Zukunft im Realmpool Sturmangriff eine Schurkin entgegengeflogen kommt bzw. sie WoW Gold über euch hinwegsegelt, dann könnte das auch Narfa sein. Nunja. Wenig WoW Gold später sind eure Chars sowieso bei Bob. Dem Geistheiler eures Vertrauens.

IV. Eye WoW Gold of the Sturm - Festhalten und Anschnallen.

Im Auge könnt ihr eigentlich nur zu WoW Gold Anfang die Schuhe effizient einsetzen. Selbst dann bringt dies nicht unbedingt enorme Vorteile. Ihr müsst am Startpunkt den unteren Felsbrocken als Sprungschanze nutzen und euch so ausrichten, dass ihr genau bis an den Spawnpunkt der Flagge segelt. Leider müsst ihr euch weiterhin sehr auf eure Kollegen verlassen und nachher sind die Schuhe aus anderer Position nicht weiter verwendbar um effizient Strecken zu überwinden.

Arathi ist das idealste Schlachtfeld. Mindestens vier verschiedene Routen könnt ihr wählen um an fast allen Positionen präsent zu sein. Anschnallen nicht vergessen! Ausgangspunkt aller Reisen ist die Säge als höchster Punkt in den Schlachtfeldern. Trotzdem auch hier mit Stiefeln springen und Fallschirm am optimalem Punkt nutzen. Route 1 bringt euch bis auf den Weg vor der Mine. Eventuell auch bis hinunter zur Mine. Route 2 dagegen befördert euch zur Schmiede bzw. auf das Dach dieser, wenn ihr im richtigen Moment den Fallschirmbuff wegklickt. Beobachtet die Position um nicht zuviel Fallschaden zu bekommen. Über die linke Kante springt ihr bis genau zur Stallflagge (Route 3) und über die flachere Kante rechts erreicht ihr den Hof. Als Verteidiger gute Positionen um schnell an allen Orten die eigenen Truppen zu unterstützen.

The Rule of Proximity

The Rule of Proximity looks to replace in game chat channels with a more literal purpose and usage. "Whispering, for instance, should only be engaged if you or someone suggests moving away from the general conversation and actually speaking in whispers - not from across vast differences." This means a whisper in game should be exactly that - a whisper, chat spoken softly between characters standing in close proximity to each other. It also includes a disregard to more public channels, like Trade WoW Gold and Party, in lieu of incorporating such communication where WoW Gold it is WoW Gold most proper, in RP form.

When the FIRP concept was first publicized, I caught notice of it as it rippled across the WoW forums. Since then, it has grown into a small wave, and has given cause for a growing number of roleplayers to ride the wave to the realm of its birthplace, Moon Guard. As far back as I am aware, which would be early last year, Moon Guard has had the reputation of always having quality roleplayers and RP in general. FIRP is at least helping, if not the current reason for, an increasing number of roleplayers to migrate from other RP realms to Moon Guard. The Order of Sterling, my WoW RP guild led by 'Commander Marshal' Bjorke Aurelius, has only recently followed suit and relocated to Moon Guard from Blackwater Raiders, where the RP griefing has become completely abhorrent in the face of Blizzards so-called 'RP Policy'.

Historically, guilds were a gathering of people with a specific talent, such as weaving, or pottery. Members of a guild had a purpose: to perform their profession on a daily and as-needed basis. Roleplaying guilds, especially FIRP guilds, should also be brought to awareness of following in the same steps. If you are going to call your guild a roleplaying guild, and if you are a member of a roleplaying guild, then roleplaying should be what you are doing with your character on a daily and as-needed basis, first and foremost. The guild's storyline should be just as well known, endorsed, and interacted with as your character's story, perhaps even more so.

The Rule of Guilding, is perhaps the most difficult to administer and adhere to. I have not yet been a guildmaster in any MMORPG I play or have played, but when looking at it from an old Dungeon Master's point of view, I see it to certainly be the most challenging FIRP notion. Rule #3 states that " the chief concept to remember here is that guilds are assembled so that the members found within are able to contribute equally to the guild's objectives." This might be a little unclear for some, but I think I can clear it up a bit.

The final rule, the Rule of Truth, encompasses the fact of commitment needed to engage in FIRP, and hearken WoW Gold roleplayers to realizing they are not alone. As long as roleplayers remain true to themselves and others, "the results of it can be more rewarding and fulfilling than anything you've ever done before."

It was after midnight when Ascham left.

     Granice turned back into the library. It had never occurred to him that Ascham would not believe his story. For three hours he had explained, elucidated, patiently and painfully gone over every detail -- but without once breaking down the iron incredulity of the lawyer's eye.
     At first Ascham had feigned to be convinced -- but that, as Granice now perceived, was simply to get him to expose himself, to entrap him into contradictions. And when the attempt failed, when Granice triumphantly met and refuted each disconcerting question, the lawyer dropped the mask suddenly, and said with a goodhumoured laugh: "By Jove, Granice you'll write a successful play yet. The way you've worked this all out is a marvel."
     Granice swung about furiously -- that last sneer about the play inflamed him. Was all the world in a conspiracy to deride his failure?
     "I did it, I did it," he muttered sullenly, his rage spending itself against the impenetrable surface of the other's mockery; and Ascham answered with a smile: "Ever read any of those books on hallucination? I've got a fairly good medico-legal library. I could send you one or two if you like. . ."
     Left alone, Granice cowered down in the chair before his writingtable. He understood that Ascham thought him off his head.
     "Good God -- what if they all think me crazy?"
     The horror of it broke out over him in a cold sweat -- he sat there and shook, his eyes hidden in his icy hands. But gradually, as he began to rehearse his story for the thousandth time, he saw again how incontrovertible it was, and felt sure that any criminal lawyer would believe him.
     "That's the trouble -- Ascham's not a criminal lawyer. And then he's a friend. What a fool I was to talk to a friend! Even if he did believe me, he'd never let me see it -- his instinct would be to cover the whole thing up. . . But in that case -- if he did believe me -- he might think it a kindness to get me shut up in an asylum. . ." Granice began to tremble again. "Good heaven! If he should bring in an expert -- one of those damned alienists! Ascham and Pettilow can do anything -- their word always goes. If Ascham drops a hint that I'd better be shut up, I'll be in a strait-jacket by to-morrow! And he'd do it from the kindest motives -- be quite right to do it if he thinks I'm a murderer!"

Der fremde Knabe hatte sich wieder über die Kohlen gebeugt mit einem Ausdruck augenblicklichen Wohlbehagens, der an Albernheit grenzte, während sich in Friedrichs Zügen der Wechsel eines offenbar mehr selbstischen als gutmütigen Mitgefühls spielte und sein Auge in fast glasartiger Klarheit zum erstemale bestimmt den Ausdruck jenes ungebändigen Ehrgeizes und Hanges zum Großtun zeigte, der nachher als so starkes Motiv seinen meisten Handlungen hervortrat.

Der Ruf seiner Mutter störte ihn aus Gedanken, die ihm ebenso neu als angenehm waren. Sie saß wieder am Spinnrade.
